About the tour

This exclusive experience invites you to explore the remarkable Aboriginal Rock Art of the Kupungarri Ranges - home to an extensive collection of prehistoric artworks, many rarely seen by visitors. Walking alongside knowledgeable local guides, Isayah and Jimeon, you will journey through rugged country rich in history and spirit.

As you follow ancient pathways along dramatic cliff faces, your guides will share the meaning and cultural significance behind the artwork. Each site reveals layers of history that have endured for thousands of years, creating a deeply moving and unforgettable experience.

The walk is physically engaging, with uneven terrain and some steep inclines, but those who take part are rewarded with an intimate connection to one of Australia’s most significant cultural landscapes.

Out of respect for the cultural sensitivity of this site, photography is not permitted. This ensures the integrity of the artworks and encourages guests to be fully present in the experience.
